Sausages and Peppers

This recipe can be made in about 40 minutes or less. Your family will definitely enjoy this dish.

1 lb. or package of sausages (your choice)

2 tablespoon of RL Schreiber's Garlic Roasted Pepper (

1 Green Pepper

1 Red Pepper

1 Yellow Pepper

1 teaspoon of Cayenne pepper

2 cloves of fresh garlic minced

Fresh Basil

1 large jar of red sauce (Your choice)

Sautéing Olive Oil or oil of your choice

Oven proof skillet

Mozzarella or cheese of your choice (two types or three are great)

Fresh Mozzarella Cheese can be purchased from

Andrea Salumeria store on Central Ave, in Jersey City.

  1. Cut up peppers into strips

  2. Cut sausages into wedges or diagonally

  3. Heat skillet under medium heat

  4. Add oil to pan and wait until it is hot

  5. Add peppers and stir for about 4 minutes.

  6. Add chopped garlic or garlic powder (Do not burn fresh garlic)

  7. Add RL Schreiber's Roasted Garlic Pepper

  8. Heat oven to 350 degrees

  9. Add sausages to the pan and stir until they are cooked (about 8 minutes)

  10. Add your choice of red sauce

  11. Add Cayenne pepper (optional)

  12. Sprinkle with fresh or dried basil. (Note: dry basic is stronger than fresh basil)

  13. Place pan in oven uncovered and cook for about 25 minutes or until sausages are fully cooked.

  14. Add cheese at last 5 minutes of baking
